James and Suresh met on a golf course and happened to bond over their mutual passion for real estate development. Over several rounds of golfing they tossed ideas on a real estate idea that would have the most impact post COVID. Since 2020 people have started exploring life outside of work and in some cases take work to a place where they can enjoy their favorite past time on the evenings and weekends. As vacation rentals through popular sites could be challenging since there is always an unpleasant and unexpected surprise with the rentals that could destroy what is supposed to be a fun outing with your friends or family. The third party sites don't have an accountability since there is sufficient demand for vacation rentals and not enough supply. On the other hand purchasing and maintaining a vacation rental remains a challenge due to affordability and maintenance as well as the stress of renting it out while not in use.
James and Suresh thought that by selling a part ownership in a vacation home, the customers get the best of both worlds. You not only get several weeks in a year to stay in a home of your own, you only pay a fraction of maintenance costs on the property, while watch the equity of their share grow over time and have the ability to sell it in the future.

James’s relevant accomplishments include being a pioneer in the large scale, single-family investment industry by creating one of the first REITs for this asset class. He purchased thousands of distressed lots and built turn-key single-family rental properties worth over $500 million across the nation. James eventually sold these homes to public REITs. James was nationally recognized by CNBC, Bloomberg Television, Wall Street Journal, and New York Times for his early vision. He created, raised, and managed six real estate private equity funds dedicated to this strategy, and has now returned to this space with multiple SFR developments in progress.

Suresh has a background in Electrical engineering from BITS Pilani in India and MBA from Wharton Business School. He has been part of several startups from concept to market and has an acumen for assessing a customer need and developing a business plan around that need.
For leisure Suresh enjoys anything outdoors. He's an avid skier and snowboarder, ultimate frisbee player and scuba instructor. He loves bicyling and has a passion for motorcycles. He lives in Palo Alto with his wife and two sons.
